In Round 7 of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles traded with the Detroit Lions and used the No. 249 overall pick to select Moro Ojomo, a defensive tackle from the Texas Longhorns.
The announcement of the pick was made by Stephen Appiah, a former Black Stars skipper, at an Eagles’ NFL Draft Day Viewing event held at the Bridgeview Hotel in Akosombo.
Despite the rain, Appiah revealed that the Eagles had chosen Ojomo, who was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States when he was seven years old.
