Piesie Esther has won her first award, Gospel Song of the Year at the ongoing Ghana Music Awards at the Grand Arena of Accra International Conference Centre.
Piesie Esther has seven nominations in the categories of Artiste of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Best Music Video of the Year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.
She is a strong contender in the Artiste of the Year where she is coming up against the likes of has Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, KiDi, and Joe Mettle.
The VGMA24 is currently happening at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
