TO whip up interest in Ghanaians and support for Black Stars at the forthcoming World Cup tournament which starts on Sunday, November 20, Chale Clothing has unveiled a new Jersey collection, Love Ghana, Love Chale.

The collection which comes in different types—Kick Off, Black Stars, Bounce, Crop Top among others is to give football fans a good taste of fashion season.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony at Chale Ghana offices in Osu, Accra, Co-founder of Chale Ghana, Kurtis Kudjo expressed his appreciation to fashion enthusiasts who have supported the brand over the years.

“Apart from rallying support for Black Stars, this is also a good call to boost tourism in Ghana. The Christmas season is almost here and people are coming to Ghana. It is a good chance for them to connect with local brands and to see that aside all the bigger brands that are in Ghana, the local brands are also representing well.

“So let’s just do something that can also compete with international brands. Basically, this is to boost the patriotic spirits of Ghanaians during these times and also to create the collective will for people who love everything Ghana to also appreciate what we can do with our brands”, he said.

Patrons at the unveiling event including stakeholders in the fashion sector and customers had the first opportunity to buy some jerseys.

As part of the jersey launch event, proceeds from the first 10 pieces would go into supporting this year’s OneChalé project. OneChalé is a charity organization established in 2020 to drive sustainable social change in rural communities with a commitment to solving social needs, improving lives, and creating opportunities for self-development.

“Growing up in a deprived community, I went through a lot and understand the challenges of children in such communities. I don’t think I need to be rich before helping others so the charity arm of Chale Clothing will support this worthy cause.

“As an innovative lifestyle brand, we hope this collection will recognize our collective commitment to promoting Ghana while enjoying the joys and unity that come with fashion, arts, tourism and sport”, Mr Kudjo added.
