The Ketu North District Football Association has inaugurated its Local Organising Committee (LOC) to oversee the management of football in the district.
At the inauguration last Wednesday at Dzodze, members of the committee were tasked to ensure football activities in the municipality were promoted to the highest level.
The committee is chaired by Mr Mensah Conzy Agbavor and has Mr Frank Ali as its secretary and Mr Wisdom Dovlo as the media representative. Others include Messrs Kinock Wovennu (clubs’ representative), Charles Ablor (rep of match officials), Bless Misedzi (rep of women’s football) and Wisdom Gbemu (technical team representative).
Key among issues discussed was the preparations towards the district juvenile league.
Mr Agbavor challenged members of the LOC to remain committed to the cause to ensure they moved football in the region to the next level.
He observed that the only way the committee could ensure that grassroot football in the district developed was through the commitment of all stakeholders and, therefore, tasked all members to put their shoulder to the wheel to ensure their ambition for the district was achieved.
The Ketu North District FA Coordinator, Mr Patrick Atsu Kofi Zeye, expressed his gratitude to clubs and other stakeholders who participated in the meeting and asked them to work hard to unearth talents by ensuring juvenile football was developed in the district.
