The President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), David Haggerty, is scheduled to arrive in the country tomorrow for an official visit.
He is expected to be accompanied by other executive members of the ITF to participate in the 2022 edition of the Confederation of Africa Tennis (CAT) Gala Dinner and Awards Night.
He will also participate in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the CAT, which will be hosted at the Accra City Hotel on October 14 and 15.
The Executive Committee of the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) was chosen to host the 2022 annual AGM in partnership with the Accra City Hotel.
According to the president of the GTF, Isaac Aboagye Duah, this is the first time Ghana has been given the nod to host such an important event and promised that it would be a huge success.
He said delegates from all the 53 Federations across the continent were expected in the country, adding that CAT president, Tarak Cherif, and his executives will be the official host of the AGM.
