Seasoned Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has in a passionate plea called on Nigerians and the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, to come to his aid.

 In the video message circulating on social media, Anuku expressed his frustration at being jobless for an extended period despite his status as a Nollywood legend.

“I have worked for this country. I have attained the height of being a legend. But I’ve had no job for, God knows, how many years. And I expect that Nigerians will also know that I did it all for them,” Anuku stated in the video.

The actor, who has contributed significantly to the Nigerian film industry over the years, revealed that he has been living from hand to mouth despite his legendary status. Seeking assistance, he made a direct appeal to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his fans to support him during these challenging times.

“I just gonna ask Governor Sheriff [Oborevwori] to please send support to me. And my fans who truly love and appreciate the works I’ve done for them, if you think you truly love me, may God help you all to help me,” Anuku passionately pleaded.

The viral video has sparked discussions on social media, with fans and well-wishers expressing their concern for the Bishop star’s well-being.
