Less than three days after he tendered his resignation as head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kosta Papic, has been unveiled as the new technical director of South Africa premier league side, Black Leopards.

Papic resigned from Hearts of Oak on Monday citing interference in his job only to join the South Africa club three days later.

Despite persistent plea from management of the club to rescind his decision, Papic stood his grounds and exited unknowing to Hearts officials he was heading back to South Africa to sign a new contract.

The club’s official twitter handle welcomed the 60-year-old Serbian gaffer back to the premier league having previously coached Olando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in the South African league.

Details of his contract was not readily available but the Serbian coach would have a herculean task to steer the Leopards away from the foot of the table.

Leopards are rooted on the foot of the South Africa premier league table with just nine points after 14 games and need to work hard to avoid relegation.
