Johnson: I’m not returning to coaching again

Ex-Hearts of Oak deputy coach, Sam Johnson, says he has no intention of returning to the dug out again due to the kinds of things that he sees in the game these days.

He said he prefers to remain behind the scenes and enjoy his private life because he cannot stand the sight where players are treated poorly by managers.

Johnson who was appointed the deputy coach in 2008 pending the arrival of Kosta Papic during his first stint with the club said the manner in which players are treated this these won’t make him feel comfortable coaching a team.

“I can not watch my players training in the hot sun while the haven’t been paid. I will complain and I will be sacked so it’s better I enjoy my quiet life.

“I don’t also want to have any trouble with the managers of a club, I like the way I am now and I still want to have that cordial relationship with the managers”, he said.

He said he was ready to contribute by way of ideas to make the game move forward in the country but taking up a position in a technical team will not happen.
