Supporters of the New Patriotic Party in the Ho Municipality could not hide their excitement after the declaration of the Presidential polls, as they poured onto the streets of Ho jubilating.
With their party paraphernalia they thronged the party’s regional office amid dancing and blowing of ‘vuvuzelas’ while ‘okada’ riders did their own jubilation on the principal streets.
The Volta Regional Organiser of the NPP, Mr. Emmanuel Korsi Bodja, was equally overcome with joy, dancing while addressing the media.
Korsi Bodja said the victory was an endorsement of President Akufo Addo’s leadership. He thanked the regional leadership constituency campaign team, regional coordinators, and all others who contributed towards the success.
“For the first time Volta New Patriotic Party has produced an NPP Member of Parliament, we have set the pace, and we will continue to set that pace because victory is for us”, he said.
