Black Stars midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, says the team is ready for the World Cup and the friendly games were just to put them in shape for the tournament.

He observed that all the previous friendly games were to help in their preparation but their game against Switzerland will help “create the intensity and energy” to put them in the right frame for the competition proper.

Speaking to the FA website, the Ajax midfielder was optimistic the team was ready for the World Cup and want the nation to rally behind them.

“We just came and preparation has been good. The whole team looks ready and fit so we just go tomorrow and give our best and prepare for the World Cup ahead.

“All these three games are preparations for the game but tomorrow is another game.

“The past two games are finished and gone so we just need to take the game tomorrow as the first game in the World Cup to really create the intensity and energy and everything to get ready for the World Cup”, he stated.
