The Black Stars say they are adequately prepared to face the Sudanese in their return leg of the Africa Cup of Nations (ACON) qualifiers at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman later today.
Ghana beat the Falcons of Jediane 2-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium last Thursday courtesy two brilliant strikes from skipper Andre Ayew in each half.
Speaking during a visit by Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Dr Nii Okai Hammond, the deputy skipper of the side, Richard Ofori assured of their readiness to deliver for the country.
“Your Excellency (H.E Dr. Nii Okai Hammond), we thank you for the visit, we know what you are capable of, because we were with you in Egypt and you supported us throughout the tournament, Ofori said
Ofori explained that from their previous game against the North African side, they know how they play and have prepared adequately for them.
“So, what we can assure you is that, we know the team, we played with them in Cape Coast and we know what they are capable of. But we can assure you that the guys are ready.
“As you can see, today’s training, everything went well so the guys are ready and tomorrow we will give you victory” Ofori added
The game is scheduled for 15:00 GMT kick off.
